We must understand what it is we are being saved from. According to the Word of God it is sin, death, the grave and hell. We are not saved because we claim to be saved. We are saved through faith because we believe that Jesus died, was buried and resurrected from the dead. 

 GOD SAID THOU SHALT SURELY DIE

Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

 SIN IS TRANSGRESSION OF THE LAW

1Jo 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

 THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

 Death Passed Upon All Men

Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

 ALL HAVE SINNED

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

 ALL WILL DIE AND BE JUDGED

Hbr 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

 JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR ALL

Rom 5:6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Rom 14:9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

 JESUS CHRIST ROSE FROM THE DEAD

 HEAR THE WORD OF GOD

Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. 

 BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. 

CONFESS WITH THY MOUTH THE LORD JESUS & BELIEVE IN THINE HEART THAT GOD HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD 

Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

 CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 

 REPENT OF YOUR SINS & BE CONVERTED

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 

 BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST

Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

 STUDY THE WORD OF GOD

 BE A DOER OF THE WORD OF GOD

Jam 1:23-25 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

 ENDURE UNTIL THE END

Matt 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
